A CROTA (Church ruins On The Air) célja Magyarország történelmi templom romjainak megismertetése
és népszerűsítése a rádióamatőr közösség segítségével.
A program résztvevői nem csupán rádióösszeköttetéseket létesítenek, hanem felkeresik,
dokumentálják és tisztelettel bemutatják kulturális örökségünk értékes emlékeit.
Minden aktiválás hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy ezek a sokszor elfeledett helyszínek ismét figyelmet kapjanak,
és a rádióhullámokon keresztül történetük a világ minden tájára eljusson.

The aim of CROTA (Church ruins On The Air) is to introduce and promote the historic church ruins of Hungary with the help of the amateur radio community.
The participants of the program do not only establish radio connections, but also visit,
document and respectfully present the valuable monuments of our cultural heritage.
Every activation contributes to these often forgotten sites receiving attention again, and their stories reaching all over the world through the radio waves.

A CROTA különlegessége, hogy nemcsak rádióamatőr program, hanem kulturális örökségvédelmi kezdeményezés is.
A résztvevők olyan templomromokat ismerhetnek meg, amelyekről korábban nem is hallottak,
így a rádiózás összekapcsolódik a helytörténettel és a kulturális örökség népszerűsítésével.
Ez egy olyan egyedi érték, amellyel nemcsak a hazai rádióamatőrök, hanem később akár a nemzetközi közösség érdeklődését is felkeltheti.
